Diamond peeling or microdermabrasion is a new generation of skin resurfacing, an in-salon procedure that aims to gently and painlessly remove the top layer of the dermis. This is necessary in order to "erase" visible defects, improve tissue permeability to prepare the skin for more complex cosmetic procedures.
Small wrinkles, crow's feet, post-acne, pigmentation, freckles - these and many other skin problems can be eliminated by taking a diamond-vacuum peeling course at the ÄSTHETIK LAB clinic.
Features of the procedure
For diamond grinding, a special apparatus is used, equipped with diamond-coated nozzles. Negative pressure is applied to the metal handle of the device, due to which a vacuum is formed upon contact with the skin. The intensity of the vacuum suction is adjustable depending on the treated area. The stronger the vacuum, the deeper the impact.
For microdermabrasion sterile tips are used. There are nozzles for the face, for the body, for delicate areas. They differ in size and degree of abrasiveness of the spray.
Before the procedure, it is necessary to thoroughly cleanse the skin of makeup and other impurities. After that, a special composition is applied for better glide of the nozzle.
The nozzle is slowly glided along certain lines of the face. These are the lines of least stretch in the dermis. The vacuum sucks the skin, and the diamond layer gently removes the top layer of the epidermis. After grinding, the recovery processes start. The vacuum provides a rush of blood and better penetration of cosmetics after the procedure.
Diamond peeling takes 30-40 minutes. The procedure is painless, does not require rehabilitation.
After microdermabrasion, moisturizing or cooling masks are applied to the face and neck to eliminate puffiness and slight redness.
